Rev. Nathaniel A. Prakash is originally from the Fiji Islands. His family roots originate from the Methodist Church in Fiji. He is now an ORDAINED MINISTER of the Free Methodist Church of Canada.
He is the son of the late Rev. Ariel J. Prakash and Mrs. Eva B. Prakash. His dad was an ordained minister of the Assemblies of God. He was the Pastor of Bethany church in Samabula, the land being donated by his family clan. He was also the Pastor of the Flagstaff Assemblies of God church in Suva, Fiji.
Pastor Nathaniel migrated to Canada in 1977 and has served in various capacity with the Windsor United Church, Anugrah Full Gospel Church, The Church of God in Christ and the Surrey Pentecostal Assembly, where he was the Pastor for Missions and Cross Cultural ministries. He also facilitated a Home Bible Study for the last 25 years.
Pastor Nathaniel has been a friend to the late Rev.Victor Williams, the former Pastor of the Surrey Free Methodist Church and its members for the last 30 years. He became the Spiritual Overseer/Pastor for the Surrey Free Methodist Church and assumed the office of the Lead Pastor, as of April 1st 2015.
Pastor Nat has graduated with a Masters in Theology (MTh) and Doctorate in Divinity (DDiv). He brings with him skills in Preaching, Teaching, Counseling, Finance, Administration, IT, Musical and with strong Leadership, yet humbly dependent on the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Pastor Nathaniel is married to Prem Lata and has only 1 son, Anthony Prakash. They live in Surrey, BC. Pastor Nathaniel is bi-vocational.
